The new double Din multimedia receiver comes with 6.2-inch WVGA touch screen with decent 800×480 resolution. The screen has standard 16:9 ratio, best for DVD Video playback. Though the resolution is not as good as present day tablets, it is up to the mark for car multimedia players.
The device is capable of playing all common file formats including Divx videos, which is a missing feature in most of other models in same price range. The device supports audio and video playback from DVD, CD and VCDs. The Pioneer AVH-285BT also supports media playback from USB flash drives, Aux input, built-in Bluetooth for media streaming and built-in AM/FM tuner for unlimited entertainment. The built-in Bluetooth also supports Hands-Free calling. The device is powered with built-in 4 channel MOSFET Amplifier with 50-Watts per channel.
