BlackVue DR900X Review

Latest BlackVue DR900X series dashcam comes with two variants. DR900X-2CH being dual cam and DR900X-1CH being single front cam variant. The DR900X-2CH sports 8MP primary camera and 2.1MP rear camera. If you’re looking for a front camera alone, you can choose the 1-channel variant.

The front camera supports 3840×2160 resolution 4K UHD video recording at 30 FPS. UHD gives over 4x dense pixel than full-HD resolution, so you will never miss any details in the recorded video. Be it a sign board on the road side, vehicle numbers or people in the 162-deg camera angle, the device captures sharp and vivid details. The UHD resolution helps in zooming to minor details without pixelation.

BlackVue DR900X Review

The BlackVue DR900X uses H.265 video compression technology to reduce the recorded file size. The device comes with options of 32GB, 64GB, 128GB and 256GB memory cards. The the model supports automatic over-writing of old recordings with new recordings, you can choose the SD card size based on your average miles coverage. You can also set the recording resolution to 1080p Full-HD to reduce the video file size.

The BlackVue DR900X dashcam also features built-in dual-band WiFi connectivity. You can download the recorded videos directly on your smartphone, tablet or laptop. The device also supports 4G LTE module (need to buy separately) connect to Cloud or watch recorded video from anywhere.
